It can rob you of your time, your energy, and can go round and round in your mind like an old broken record. The 'what if's' seem never-ending, while the 'if only's' hold you hostage to a place in time that will forever be the same.
That place where we feel helpless to our own emotions. The sleepless nights when our brains won't shut down, while our bodies are exhausted and our joy seems lost.
We start to feel as if these things are stronger than us and our hearts start to fill with regret, anger, resentments, and well, let's get real... it sometimes feels like never-ending torture.
After I experienced multiple devastating miscarriages, my husband and I made a commitment to reduce stress and create more time for valuable moments with loved ones.

The endless hours of building a business for over a decade gave me 'burn out' and drained me emotionally.

It started with prioritizing what exactly we needed to simplify, which is a piece that is different for everyone.
For us, it meant creating a plan to minimize our debt, get organized, and live a healthier life both physically and emotionally.
This also meant reducing the energy-draining tasks that were getting in our way, so the valued relationships around us could take priority.
I sold off my shares in the business that drained me so that I could be home full time with our daughter.
Thankfully, I then carried a healthy baby boy to full term and downsized our home to a much more simple and happy lifestyle.
With joy and abundance, my husband has also been able to work fewer hours, and enjoy a 3 day family weekend every single week!
